About Us

In September of 2012, we started a fledgling leather project to help fire victims in a local village gain skills and find employment. After quite a few fits and starts, we revamped the program and began anew. You can read more about the history of the program here. Now, our training program is supporting sixteen Ugandans full-time. Twelve of our craftsmen work in their home villages, and four work in our workshop in an intensive training program. The program is currently led by our senior craftsman, Irege Johnson, shown below.

Our product offerings include iPhone cases, iPad cases, journals, tumblers, coffee mugs, shot glasses and more. All leather items are hand-tooled. Currently our products are only sold in Uganda (primarily at The Keep cafe and Gately Entebbe), at various security conferences in the US and on our Etsy shop. If you’re interested in reselling our items or have a question, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
